MOTHER DIED TODAY Completes Work On Self-Titled Debut

Victoria, British Columbia-based doom/death metal group MOTHER DIED TODAY has completed work on its initial self-titled release. The CD was recorded with living punk rock legend Scott Henderson of Sea of Shit studio fame in his new Lap of Luxury studio.

Two songs from the album "Heaven Descending" and "Unwept For" can be found on the band's MySpace page.

MOTHER DIED TODAY will embark on a two-week western Canadian tour to promote the CD. Hitting the road with them will be Victoria metal brothers ARCHON LEGION. The tour will begin Friday, April 4 in Victoria, and will venture as far east as Regina, Saskatchewan before heading back to Vancouver Island.
